1 Kings 1

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the stories of faith and the examples of trust in Your sovereignty that we find in these pages. Help us to learn from the characters in this story and to apply their wisdom to our own lives.

Lord, give us the discernment to recognize Your will for us and the courage to follow it, just as Solomon had. Help us to be faithful and obedient servants, seeking Your guidance and direction in all that we do.

We pray for the wisdom and understanding to lead in the way that is pleasing to You. Let Your will be done in and through us, that Your name may be glorified in our lives.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos muestra la importancia de la obediencia y fidelidad a tu voluntad. Así como Salomón fue ungido como rey según tu plan, te pido que también me guíes y me fortalezcas para caminar en tu propósito para mi vida. Ayúdame a mantenerme fiel a ti y a obedecer tus mandamientos, para que mi vida sea agradable delante de ti, al igual que lo fue Salomón.

Señor, te pido que me des sabiduría y discernimiento, para que así como Salomón, pueda tomar decisiones justas y sabias que honren y glorifiquen tu nombre. Ayúdame a buscar tu voluntad en todo momento y a confiar en tu dirección, sabiendo que tu plan para mi vida es perfecto. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
