1 Samuel 8

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. It serves as a reminder of the consequences of seeking worldly power and authority over following Your will. Help me to always seek Your guidance and trust in Your perfect plan for my life, instead of chasing after the things of this world.

Please help me to be content with the authority You have given me and to use it for Your glory. Give me the wisdom to discern between Your will and my own desires, and the strength to follow Your path even when it may be difficult.

Thank You for Your love and grace, and for always being there to guide and support me.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto de 1 Samuel 8 que nos muestra cómo el pueblo de Israel buscaba un rey terrenal en lugar de confiar en tu soberanía. Ayúdame a recordar que tú eres mi único Rey y que debo poner mi confianza en ti, en lugar de buscar soluciones humanas. Permite que mi corazón busque siempre tu voluntad y que esté dispuesto a seguir tus mandatos, sabiendo que tu plan para mi vida siempre es perfecto.

Señor, en un mundo lleno de distracciones y decisiones difíciles, ayúdame a mantener mi enfoque en ti y en tu reino. Que mi vida refleje tu amor y tu gracia a aquellos que me rodean, y que mi corazón esté siempre dispuesto a seguirte en obediencia. Que tu Espíritu Santo me guíe y fortalezca para que pueda vivir de acuerdo a tus mandatos. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
