2 Samuel 16

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for reminding me that even in the midst of betrayal and hardship, Your plans and purposes will prevail. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty and not be overcome by fear or bitterness.

Please give me the grace to respond to adversity with faith and humility, just as David did when he was faced with the cursing of Shimei. Help me to trust in Your justice and not seek revenge on those who may wrong me.

I pray for the strength to endure and the wisdom to discern Your will even in difficult circumstances. May I always turn to You for guidance and find rest in Your presence.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto de 2 Samuel 16 que nos muestra el poder de tu soberanía sobre las dificultades y traiciones que enfrentamos en la vida. Ayúdame a confiar en que a pesar de las circunstancias difíciles, Tú estás en control y tienes un plan perfecto para mí. Permíteme aprender a aceptar las pruebas y aflicciones como parte de tu proceso de refinamiento en mi vida, y que mi fe no desfallezca en los momentos de adversidad.

Te pido que me concedas la fortaleza para enfrentar los embates del enemigo, y que mi corazón no se contamine con amargura o resentimiento, sino que encuentre consuelo y paz en tu presencia. Que mi confianza no esté puesta en las circunstancias externas, sino en tu fidelidad que permanece constante. Que tu Palabra sea mi guía y fortaleza en cada paso que doy. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
