Luke 7

Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the example of faith and humility displayed by the centurion, and for the reminder of Your power and authority over all things.

Please help me to cultivate a heart of faith like the centurion, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your plans, even when I do not understand.

I pray that You would heal the sick, comfort the grieving, and provide for those in need. Help me to be a vessel of Your love and compassion in the world around me.

Thank You for Your great love and mercy, and for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray all these things in His name,

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto en Lucas 7 que nos enseña sobre el poder de tu perdón y tu compasión. Ayúdame a aprender de la humildad de la mujer pecadora que derramó sus lágrimas sobre tus pies y encontró el perdón y la redención. Permíteme acercarme a ti con la misma humildad y necesidad de sanidad en mi vida.

Señor, en este momento te pido que me ayudes a ser sensible a la necesidad de perdón y compasión en los demás, al igual que lo fuiste con la mujer pecadora. Que mi corazón se conmueva al ver el sufrimiento ajeno y que pueda ser un instrumento de tu amor y misericordia en este mundo.
