that your way may be known on earth,
your saving power among all nations.
– Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
– Romans 10:14-15
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
– 2 Thessalonians 3:1
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you.
You have called us to go and make disciples of all nations, and we humbly and gratefully accept this calling. We ask for Your strength, wisdom, and courage as we embark on this mission. Please guide us in every step we take, may our hearts be filled with love and compassion for those we meet, and may we be a shining light of Your gospel wherever we go. Provide us with the resources and support we need to carry out Your work effectively and fruitfully.
Father, we pray for protection over our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being as we serve in unfamiliar and sometimes dangerous places. Shield us from discouragement, doubt, and fear, and remind us of Your presence and faithfulness every moment of the day. Grant us perseverance and resilience when faced with challenges, and help us to trust in Your perfect timing and plan for our lives.
We lift up all missionaries around the world, that they may experience Your comfort, strength, and peace as they obediently spread Your word to the ends of the earth. May Your Holy Spirit work powerfully through us, bringing hearts to You and transforming lives for Your glory. We entrust our mission into Your hands, knowing that You are the source of all things good and wonderful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
