Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. I am grateful for the reminder that I have been buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life. Help me to live in the freedom and victory that comes from being united with Christ in his death and resurrection.
I confess that there are times when I struggle with sin and feel enslaved by its power. Please help me to reckon myself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus, and to present myself as an instrument of righteousness to You. I desire to walk in obedience and to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Thank You for the promise that sin will not have dominion over me because I am under grace. I am grateful for the grace and forgiveness that You have given me through Jesus Christ. May Your grace empower me to live a holy and transformed life.
I pray that You will continue to work in my heart, renewing my mind and transforming me into the image of Your Son. Help me to yield myself to You as a servant of righteousness, and to experience the abundant life that You have promised to those who are in Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
