Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the beautiful imagery and the reminder of Your love for us.

I pray that I would experience the intimacy and passion that is described in this chapter. Help me to cultivate a deep and abiding love for You, and to seek You first in all things.

May I be like a lily among thorns, standing out in this world as a reflection of Your love and grace. Help me to stay close to You and to find rest in Your shadow.

Thank You for the promise of Your presence and Your love. May I always feel Your embrace and Your love surrounding me.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto del Cantar de los Cantares que nos recuerda el amor y la pasión que tienes por nosotros. Ayúdame a experimentar ese amor de manera más profunda en mi vida diaria. Permíteme vivir en constante comunión contigo, disfrutando de la belleza de tu creación y de tu amor incondicional. Que mi relación contigo sea como la de los amantes descritos en este pasaje, llena de intimidad y entrega.

Te pido que me ayudes a cuidar esa relación, a mantener viva la llama de la pasión por ti y a nunca apartarme de tu presencia. Que mi amor por ti sea cada día más fuerte y genuino, y que pueda reflejarlo en mi trato con los demás. Gracias por amarme de manera incondicional y por permitirme disfrutar de tu amor.
