1 Kings 11

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter, which reminds me of the consequences of turning away from You and following after worldly desires. Help me to always seek after Your will and to remain obedient to Your commands.

Forgive me for the times when I have allowed my own selfish desires to lead me astray. Give me the strength to resist temptation and to walk in Your ways.

Teach me to be wise in my decisions and to be discerning in the company I keep, so that I may continue to honor and please You.

May my heart be steadfast and loyal to You, and may my life be a reflection of Your love and grace. Let me never forget the importance of remaining faithful to You, even when the world around me may be in turmoil.

Thank You for Your patience and mercy towards me, and for the opportunities You give me to turn back to You. I place my trust in You, knowing that You are the only one who can satisfy the longings of my soul.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que me recuerda la importancia de obedecer tu mandato y permanecer fiel a ti. Reconozco que al igual que el rey Salomón, a veces puedo caer en la tentación de apartarme de tu voluntad y buscar mi propio camino. Te pido que me des la sabiduría y la fortaleza necesaria para mantenerme firme en mi fe y no apartarme de ti, a pesar de las presiones y tentaciones que pueda enfrentar en mi vida diaria. Ayúdame a mantener un corazón obediente y fiel a tus mandatos, para poder experimentar tu bendición y favor en cada aspecto de mi vida.

Te pido perdón por las veces que he cedido a la tentación y he apartado mi corazón de ti. Concede que mi corazón sea siempre tuyo y que mis decisiones reflejen mi amor y fidelidad hacia ti. Que mi vida sea un testimonio de tu gracia y misericordia, y que pueda vivir en integridad delante de ti. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
