Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the wisdom and guidance it provides for living a life that is pleasing to You. Help me to internalize and apply these teachings in my own life.
I pray for all those in positions of authority and leadership within the church, that they may lead with integrity and humility, and that they may be supported and upheld by those under their care.
I also lift up to You all those who are in need, especially the widows and orphans mentioned in this passage. May they find comfort and care within the community of believers, and may they experience Your provision and protection.
I ask for the grace to show proper respect and care for those who are older than me, and for the discernment to treat others with pure motives and sincerity.
Thank You for Your love and guidance, and for the ways You work in and through our lives. Help me to be a faithful follower and servant of Your will.
