Father,

You have shown us the ultimate example of love by sending Your Son to die for us while we were still sinners. I come before You asking for the strength and the grace to love my enemies as You have loved me. It is not easy to love those who have wronged me, but I know that it is Your will for me to do so.

Help me to see my enemies through Your eyes, to recognize that they are also created in Your image and are worthy of love and forgiveness. Give me the strength to let go of any bitterness or resentment that I may hold towards them, and to extend the same grace and mercy that You have shown me.

I ask for Your help in this, as I cannot do it on my own. Fill me with Your love and compassion, and help me to truly love my enemies as You have commanded. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
