Genesis 11

Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter, which reminds us of the consequence of human pride and our need for humility before You.

Thank You for showing us that our strength and achievements are nothing compared to Your power and sovereignty.

Please help us to be humble and to always seek Your will in our lives, rather than trying to build our own towers of glory.

Let us remember that our true purpose is to bring honor and glory to You, and to serve others with selflessness and love.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mi Señor,

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos recuerda la importancia de obedecer y confiar en tu voluntad. Ayúdame a no caer en la soberbia y el egoísmo, y a recordar que mi vida y mis planes deben estar siempre al amparo de tu dirección. Que mi corazón esté abierto a tu corrección y que mi firmeza sea en ti, no en mis propios esfuerzos.

Dame la humildad de reconocer que sin ti nada puedo hacer, y la confianza de saber que en tu poder y amor todas las cosas son posibles. Que mi vida esté en constante construcción bajo tus designios, confiando en tu fidelidad y amor inagotable. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
