Genesis 45

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the powerful reminder of Your sovereignty and the hope of redemption and reconciliation that it offers.

Please help me to trust in Your plan and purposes, even when I cannot see the way forward. Give me the grace to forgive those who have hurt me, just as Joseph forgave his brothers. May I also be a source of reconciliation and healing in my relationships with others.

Help me to remember that You can work all situations together for good, and that You are always faithful to Your promises. Strengthen my faith and give me the courage to walk in obedience to Your will.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Mi Señor,

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos recuerda tu amor y perdón incondicional. Así como José perdonó a sus hermanos por el mal que le hicieron, ayúdame a perdonar a aquellos que me han herido. Permíteme ver las situaciones difíciles desde tu perspectiva y darme cuenta de que todo obra para bien. Que mi corazón sea lleno de compasión y perdón, como el de José.

Señor, en momentos de rencor y dolor, ayúdame a recordar que Tú estás siempre presente, guiándome y dándome fuerzas para perdonar. Que mi vida refleje tu gracia y perdón, así como lo hizo José. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
