Isaiah 61

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter that reminds us of Your promise to bring healing and restoration to the brokenhearted and the oppressed. Thank You for the hope and comfort it brings to our hearts.

Please help us to experience the fullness of Your love and grace as we seek to live out the truths found in this passage. May we be empowered by Your Spirit to bring good news to the poor, comfort to the suffering, and freedom to the captive.

We pray for the strength and courage to be agents of change in the world, following the example of Jesus in bringing restoration and hope to those in need. May we be Your hands and feet, demonstrating Your love and compassion to all we encounter.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos recuerda que has venido a sanar los corazones rotos, a liberar a los cautivos y a proclamar la libertad a los prisioneros. Gracias por tu promesa de consolar a los que lloran y de intercambiar el luto por gozo. Te pido que me des la fortaleza para enfrentar mis aflicciones, la fe para creer en tu promesa de redención y la humildad para reconocer que solo contigo encontraré verdadera paz y consuelo.

Ayúdame a ser un instrumento de tu amor y misericordia en medio de un mundo necesitado de esperanza. Que mi vida sea un reflejo de tu gracia, proclamando tu salvación y tu liberación a los que están oprimidos. Que mi corazón esté lleno de compasión por los que sufren, buscando siempre traer consuelo y alivio a los que están en necesidad. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
