John 11

Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter that shows us Your power over death and the comfort and hope we can find in You. Thank You for the example of Jesus and how He showed us Your love and compassion.

As I think about the story of Lazarus, I am reminded of the times when I have felt trapped, hopeless, or alone. Thank You for the reminder that in You, there is always hope and resurrection. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when things seem impossible.

May I also remember to be a source of support and comfort to those around me who are facing their own struggles and challenges. Help me to be a light in their darkness and to point them towards You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos recuerda tu poder sobre la muerte. Gracias por mostrarnos que incluso en medio del dolor y la pérdida, tu amor y tu poder pueden traer vida y esperanza. Ayúdame a confiar en que Tú siempre estás presente, incluso en los momentos más oscuros, y que siempre tienes el control.

Te pido que me des la fe y la fortaleza para enfrentar las situaciones difíciles con la misma confianza que mostró Marta cuando le dijiste que su hermano resucitaría. Que pueda descansar en la verdad de que Tú eres el Señor de la vida y la muerte, y que puedo confiar en tu plan perfecto para mí. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
