John 17

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this text that reminds us of the power of prayer and the importance of unity among believers. As I meditate on the words of this chapter, help me to truly grasp the depth of Jesus’ prayer for His disciples and for all who would believe in Him. May I also embrace the call to be one with fellow believers, reflecting the unity of the Father and the Son.

Please help me to live in a way that honors this prayer. Soften my heart towards others and help me to seek unity and peace with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Give me the strength to love and serve others selflessly, just as Jesus did.

I pray that the world may see the love and unity among believers and be drawn to the truth of the gospel. May we be a shining example of Christ’s love and unity in the midst of a divided world.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer and for the promise that You hear and answer our prayers. Help me to always seek unity and love in my relationships with others, in line with Your will.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que nos recuerda la oración que Jesús elevó a ti antes de su muerte. Que podamos aprender de su ejemplo de humildad y entrega a tu voluntad. Ayúdanos a vivir en unidad, como Jesús oró por sus discípulos, para que el mundo crea en ti. Danos la fortaleza para superar las divisiones y trabajar juntos por tu Reino.

Te pedimos que nos mantengas protegidos del mal y que nos llenes de tu amor, para que podamos reflejar tu gloria en todo lo que hacemos. Ayúdanos a ser testigos fieles de tu gracia y a compartir tu amor con los demás. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
