thank You for Your Word and for this text that reminds us of the importance of worshipping You in spirit and in truth. Thank You for showing us the example of the Samaritan woman, who was transformed by encountering You at the well. Help us to have that same encounter with You, to have our lives changed and to be filled with Your living water.
Forgive us for the times when we have worshipped You out of habit or obligation, rather than with true reverence and love. Help us to have genuine, heartfelt worship that pleases You. Open our eyes to see the opportunities You give us to share Your love and truth with others, just as the Samaritan woman did.
Give us the courage to speak boldly of Your grace and mercy, and to lead others to You. Help us to be worshipers who bring glory to Your name in all we do.
