Thank You for Your Word and for this text that reminds me of Your sovereignty and presence in our lives. I am grateful for the lessons I can learn from the story of Jonah and for the reminder that running away from Your will only leads to trouble. Help me to be obedient to Your calling and to trust in Your plan for my life.
I pray for the courage to face my fears and to step out in faith, even when I don’t understand what lies ahead. May I have the wisdom to recognize Your voice and the strength to follow Your commands, knowing that You are always with me.
As I go through the challenges and storms of life, may I remember that You are the God of the sea and the storm, and that nothing is too difficult for You. Help me to trust in Your power and to seek Your guidance in all things.
