Dear God,
Thank You for Your Word and for this text that reminds us of Your mercy and compassion. It’s a powerful reminder that even when we are stubborn and resistant, You are still patient and kind towards us.
Thank You for teaching us through the story of Jonah that Your love extends to all people, and that You desire for all to come to repentance and experience Your grace.
Help us to be more compassionate and understanding towards others, and to be willing to bring Your message of hope and redemption to those who are lost and in need of Your love.
May we learn from Jonah’s example and be obedient to Your calling, so that we may be a light in this world and bring glory to Your name.
