Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter, which reminds us of the sacrifice and love of Jesus. Thank You for showing us his willingness to suffer and die for our sins. Help us to remember and appreciate the price that was paid for our salvation.
Forgive us for the times we have failed to appreciate the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice and for the times we have taken it for granted. Help us to truly understand the meaning of the cross and to live our lives in a way that reflects our gratitude for what Jesus has done for us.
Give us the strength to face our own trials and challenges, just as Jesus did in the garden of Gethsemane. Help us to trust in Your will and to surrender our own desires to You. Give us the courage to stand firm in our faith, regardless of the circumstances we may face.
Thank You for the hope that we have in Jesus’ resurrection and for the promise of eternal life. May we live in a way that honors Him and brings glory to Your name.
