My God,

You have called me to be a preacher of Your Word, to proclaim Your truth to a world in need of Your love and salvation. I humbly come before You, asking for Your guidance and wisdom as I fulfill this important calling. Help me to faithfully interpret and communicate Your message to those who are seeking to know You. Grant me the ability to speak with clarity and conviction, so that hearts may be touched and lives transformed by the power of Your Word.

Lord, I recognize the heavy responsibility that comes with being a preacher, and I ask for Your strength to sustain me in the midst of any challenges or opposition that may come my way. May I always rely on Your Spirit to lead and empower me as I stand before Your people to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Give me a heart of compassion for those who are hurting and lost, and help me to minister to them with the same grace and mercy that You have shown me.

I pray that You would guard my heart and mind against pride and self-righteousness, and instead fill me with humility and a deep desire to serve others in love. Help me to always be a faithful and devoted servant of Your Word, living out the message I preach in every area of my life. I thank You for the privilege of being called to proclaim Your truth, and I trust that You will continue to work through me for the glory of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
