It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
I praise You for You are just and righteous in all Your ways. Your word tells us that You are a God of justice and that You will bring forth righteousness and justice for all. I thank You for being the ultimate judge who always acts in fairness and truth. Your justice is perfect and Your ways are above our understanding.
I am grateful that Your justice is not based on our merit or our works, but rather on Your mercy and grace. You are always fair in Your judgements and Your decisions are always perfect. I trust in Your justice, even when things may not make sense to me. I praise You for being a God who always does what is right, even when the world around us may seem unfair and unjust.
Thank You, Lord, for being the ultimate example of justice and for showing us the way to live in righteousness. Help me to follow Your example and to always seek justice in all that I do. I pray that Your justice will be evident in the world around us and that Your righteousness will prevail. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
